ActiveX issue when using Internet Explorer 7

Internet Explorer 7 comes set up with more strict security settings than any previous verison of IE. This has caused an issue with veiwing our products built in web interface. Here you will find the steps you need to take to customize Internet Explorers security settings for use with our products.

1. Open your internet explorer browser
2. Click “Tools” then “Internet Options”
3. Click the “Security” tab at the top of that window
4. Click “Custom level”
5. Scroll down the list until you see an Option for “Download Unsigned ActiveX controls” and set that option to “Prompt”
6. Click OK until the internet options close and close your Internet explorer browser
7. Open a new IE browser and go to the camera web site.?This time when the ActiveX bar pops up on the top of the browser you will be prompted to install the plug-in.

Once this is done on a computer you will never have to do this again to view any ActEyes product.
